Tsuboki
From the Japanese words Tsubo (pressure point) and Ki (vital energy), reflecting the connection between the face, the body and the nervous system.
Tsuboki Facial Therapy
Tsuboki is not a typical facial. It’s a therapeutic treatment that works with the nervous system, fascia and lymphatic flow through the face, head and neck.
Most women don’t realise how much stress they are holding in their face until it begins to show. Jaw tension, headaches, skin sensitivity, hormonal changes, fatigue and loss of tone are often linked to long periods of coping and carrying emotional load. The face reflects what the body has been holding.
This work is designed to support the body to move out of that constant stress state and into a calmer, more regulated place. When this happens, the skin often begins to change naturally.
A deeper approach to skin and wellbeing
Rather than focusing only on the surface of the skin, Tsuboki works with the systems underneath. The nervous system, circulation and lymphatic flow all influence how the skin repairs, hydrates and ages.
Using precise pressure, gentle fascia release and slow, rhythmic touch, the treatment supports both physical and emotional tension to soften. Many women notice not only changes in their skin, but also improvements in sleep, clarity and overall resilience.
This is why the results often build over time rather than disappearing after a few days.
Why this feels different
Many clients arrive after years of trying different products and treatments without real change. This is often because the deeper causes have not been addressed.
When the body is under long-term stress, circulation is reduced, inflammation increases and repair slows down. This can show up as: • tension in the jaw, temples and neck
• premature ageing
• sensitivity or reactive skin
• hormonal breakouts
• headaches and fatigue
• poor sleep
By supporting regulation and lymphatic movement, the skin can begin to look brighter, calmer and more lifted without aggressive or invasive approaches.
