Reiki Master Training 26th March & 2nd April 10-3.30pm
SHINPIDEN Reiki Master Level
Shinpiden is often translated as “mystery teachings.” Not because anything is hidden, but because what is being pointed to cannot really be explained in words. At this stage, Reiki is no longer something we are trying to learn or improve. It becomes something we begin to live more quietly and directly.
Arriving here
Some of you will arrive here having trained through each level with me. Others may have completed your training elsewhere and feel ready to revisit this level in a more grounded and supported way. Wherever you are coming from, you are welcome. There is no assumption of where you should be. We simply meet the practice as it is now.
The training
This is a two-day, in-person training, held in a calm and steady environment in Durham. The group is intentionally small, allowing the space to remain focused, quiet and supportive. This level is not about adding more techniques. Instead, we return to what has always been there:
• the breath
• the body
• the mind
• presence
We explore:
• The deeper meaning of Dai Ko Myo as a state of awareness
• Refining your presence within treatments
• Subtle perception and stillness
• The role of the practitioner and what it means to hold space
• Meditation practices that support clarity and direct experience
• Understanding Reiki beyond structure or method
There is time for practice, reflection, and quiet integration.
Master Level
Shinpiden is recognised as Master level training and is a deepening of personal practice. This level is not about position or status. It is about responsibility, clarity, and depth of presence.
Reiju
Reiju is offered within this training in a way that supports your continued development. t this level, it is often experienced very deeply. There is less focus on repetition, and more on integration.
Who this is for
This training is open to those who have completed Reiki Level Two. You may feel drawn to Shinpiden if you are:
• ready to deepen your practice in a more subtle and meaningful way
• feeling called to understand Reiki beyond technique
• wanting to refine how you hold space for others
• returning to this level to reconnect with the practice more honestly
There is no rush to arrive here. It is something that tends to unfold naturally when the time feels right.
What you may notice
This level is often experienced differently by each person and some notice:
• a deeper sense of clarity and simplicity
• less effort within their treatments
• a stronger, more grounded presence
• a quieter confidence in their practice
Often, it feels like less doing, and more allowing.
