“When the body feels safe, everything begins to change”

Most women who come to me are holding more than they realise. They’ve been pushing through, getting on with things and their body has been asking for support for a while.

That might show up as anxiety, poor sleep, tension that won’t shift or just feeling off.

This isn’t a standard treatment, I work with the nervous system and fascia, because that’s where the body holds emotions, stress and long-term tension.

The way the body is touched, the pace, the pressure and the environment, all matters and when that’s right, the body starts to settle.

Every session is different, I don’t follow a routine. I work with what’s in front of me and how your body responds. Sometimes the work is slow and deep, sometimes it’s lighter and sometimes it’s a combination. There’s no expectation and nothing you need to do.

The space

The space is quiet and private, no busy reception, no noise and never any rushing. From the moment you walk in, things begin to slow down and most women leave feeling calmer, clearer and more settled in themselves.

The room is simple, clean, calm and properly looked after. Soft lighting, gentle music and carefully chosen oils support the work, but nothing is overdone.

This is a private, professional space where you can feel safe, supported and unhurried.

We begin slowly

There is time to arrive and settle and then we start with a short conversation so I can understand what’s brought you in and how your body has been feeling.

This might be tension, sleep, fatigue, overwhelm or stress. Some women talk more and some don’t. Both are completely fine.

A body-led, sensory experience

Every session is guided by how your nervous system and body are responding in the moment. I do not follow rigid routines or one size fits all treatments.

Reiki is present throughout all of my work. Whether you book bodywork, reflexology or Tsuboki facial therapy, sessions are slow, grounding and responsive.

I use high quality aromatherapy oils, warm towels, soothing textures and gentle rhythm support the body to move out of survival mode and into a calmer, more regulated state.

During your session

You will lie on a warm, supportive therapy bed, fully covered and comfortable, with blankets and cushioning to support your body. Touch is steady, rhythmic and intentional, working with fascia, breath and the nervous system.

Many clients drift into a deeply restorative state between sleep and wakefulness. Some sessions feel profoundly relaxing, others grounding or heavy. Occasionally emotional release or clarity may arise. All of these responses are normal and nothing is ever forced.

After your session

Most women notice a shift straight away. They feel calmer, clearer and more present, the body softens, breathing changes and things begin to settle. Sleep often improves, and tension that has been held for a long time starts to ease.

The nervous system continues to regulate after the session. This is where a lot of the deeper change happens, over the following hours and days as the body processes and integrates the work. I’ll guide you on what your body needs after your session.

This may include simple things like rest, hydration, gentle movement or slowing things down, depending on what we’ve worked on.

You’ll also have access to your aftercare and integration guidance, including a short guided practice you can return to at home.

This helps your body continue settling, rather than going straight back into stress or overload. For lasting results, many women choose to come regularly. Not because something is wrong, but because their body feels better when it’s supported consistently, rather than waiting until things build up again.
