Ongoing Usui Reiki Practice, Teaching and Community
The Reiki Dojo is a continuing practice space for people who have already received Usui Reiki training at any level. It has been created for those who want Reiki to remain part of their life beyond the course itself, with regular opportunities to practise, receive, learn and deepen their understanding alongside others.
The Dojo is open to my own students and to people trained elsewhere who feel aligned with a grounded, Japanese-rooted approach to Usui Reiki Ryoho.
Reiki Beyond the Course
Reiki training gives us a beginning, but the deeper understanding develops through practice. Over time, the precepts, meditation, breath, self-treatment and shared practice begin to shape how we meet ourselves and how we live. Reiki becomes more than something we use through the hands. It becomes a way of cultivating greater awareness, honesty, compassion and steadiness within ordinary life.
The Reiki Dojo exists to support that continued development.
It offers a place where Reiki remains alive through regular practice rather than becoming something learned once and gradually left behind.
A Living Practice Community
The word dojo means a place of practice. It is not only a place where information is taught. It is a space where understanding develops through repetition, experience and shared commitment. Inside the Reiki Dojo, members can continue working with the foundations of Usui Reiki Ryoho while exploring the practice with greater depth and maturity. There is room here to ask questions, revisit what may have been forgotten, strengthen daily practice and spend time with others who understand the path.
Online Reiki Practice Space
Access to a private member area containing teachings, guided practices, meditations, reflections and ongoing support.
Monthly Online Reiki Shares
A regular opportunity to practise together online, receive Reiki and remain connected wherever you live.
In-Person Reiki Gatherings
Reiki shares and practice gatherings held in County Durham throughout the year, including occasional outdoor sessions in places such as the woods or by the sea.
Traditional Japanese Reiki Practice
Continued exploration of practices such as Gasshō, Kenyoku-hō, Joshin Kokyū-hō, Hatsurei-hō, the Reiki precepts and self-treatment.
Continuing Teaching and Guidance
Grounded teaching to help you understand Reiki beyond technique and develop a more consistent relationship with your own practice.
Reiki CPD and Member Benefits
Access to selected Reiki CPD sessions and additional member support throughout the year.
The Reiki Dojo is a living practice space for those who want to continue with Reiki in a deeper and more supported way after training. Inside the Dojo, you will find teachings, meditations, guidance and traditional practices rooted in Usui Reiki Ryōhō, alongside regular opportunities to come together in practice and community throughout the year. This is not simply a place to read information and then leave. It exists to support ongoing practice, deeper understanding, confidence & connection.
Online and In Person
The Reiki Dojo is open to members in County Durham, across the North East and throughout the UK. Online gatherings make it possible to practise together from home, while local members can also attend the in-person Reiki shares and seasonal gatherings. You do not have to attend every event to belong. Some members take part mainly online, while others come to both online and in-person sessions.
Who Is the Reiki Dojo For?
The Reiki Dojo may suit you if you:
have already completed Usui Reiki training at any level
want to practise more consistently
feel that your understanding has become distant since training
would value support from an experienced Reiki teacher
want to explore the Japanese foundations of Reiki
would like regular Reiki shares and community
are looking for a grounded space without modern spiritual additions
You may have trained with me or with another Reiki teacher. What matters is that you have received recognised Usui Reiki training and are willing to approach the practice with sincerity, respect and an open mind.
My Approach to the Dojo
My teaching is in traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho as a practice of self-cultivation and healing. The Hara, the Reiki precepts, meditation, breath, Reiju and hands-on practice remain central.
The Dojo does not focus on collecting more techniques or creating increasingly complicated forms of Reiki. It supports members in developing greater depth through the foundations that already belong to the system.
This is where confidence grows through experience.
Where questions can be explored honestly.
Where practice becomes part of life.
