Kokoro Mail Club I Monthly Subscription

Each month, a seasonal Kokoro letter package is sent directly to your home.

Every Kokoro is created as one complete little monthly magical nostalgic experience, rather than a collection of random things added to fill an envelope.

You’ll receive:

• A letter from me, a proper friendly letter, written as though I’m sitting down for a catch-up with you.

• Your Month Ahead psychic reading, my collective intuitive reading for the coming month, with the impressions, guidance and things I feel might be useful for you to notice.

• A collectible art postcard, original Kokoro artwork to keep, display, frame or collect as the months go by.

• A collectible oracle card, one new card every month, created around the energy and message that came through for that edition. Keep them together and, over time, you’ll gradually build your own Kokoro oracle collection.

• Kokoro stickers, little pieces of the month’s artwork and story that you can keep, use in a journal, decorate something with or just save.

• A surprise every month, I’m deliberately not telling you what this will be. It may be a bookmark, mini print, contemplation, something creative, a little ritual, something inspired by nature, a private guided meditation or something I have felt would be lovely to tuck inside that month.

• And because I want opening Kokoro to remain exciting, not every month will look the same. That is part of the fun!

YOUR MONTH AHEAD

The collective reading is at the heart of every Kokoro. I work psychically and intuitively with the month ahead and write the reading directly to you. There may be things I feel strongly, questions I want you to think about, something I have noticed that seems important, or a message that stays with me while I am creating the month. Some parts may immediately make sense to you and others may mean more as the month unfolds. You never have to make everything fit. Read it, enjoy it, keep what speaks to you and come back to it later. I want these readings to feel like something you can actually sit with and something meaningful to you.

YOUR COLLECTIBLE KOKORO ORACLE

This is one of my favourite parts. Every month you’ll receive one original Kokoro oracle card, created from what I have been most drawn to while making that edition. It may come from an animal, landscape, weather, water, a tree, a season, something I encountered or something that became particularly strong during the reading. Each card will carry its own message and guidance, so you can use it whenever you feel drawn to it. One card becomes two, two become six and eventually you’ll have a completely unique oracle collection that you have built month by month through Kokoro. I love the idea that years from now you might pull one of those cards and remember exactly which Kokoro it came from.

ART TO KEEP

The digital artwork is created especially for Kokoro and is influenced by the old Japanese woodblock printing style I love, imperfect lines, aged colours, visible texture and the feeling of something that has been made rather than digitally polished until every trace of the maker has disappeared. Your monthly postcard is intended to be kept. Put it on your desk, tuck it into a journal, frame your favourites or gradually build the whole collection. Kokoro itself is created here in County Durham, and although Japanese art influences the visual language, each edition remains very much part of my own world, work and surroundings.

AND THEN THERE’S THE SURPRISE…

I could tell you everything that goes into Kokoro, but where would be the fun in that? Every month I’ll tuck one additional surprise inside your envelope. You won’t know what it is before it arrives, and I want to keep it that way. It gives me the freedom to make something because it feels right for that particular month, rather than promising twelve identical packs in advance. So when your Kokoro lands, there should always be at least one thing you weren’t expecting.

A LITTLE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO

I think adults deserve lovely post too. There is something completely different about physically opening something that somebody has made for you. You can put your phone down, make a lovely drink, sit somewhere cosy and have ten minutes that don’t require you to scroll, reply, react or do anything particularly productive. You can just open your Kokoro, read your letter, see what came through for your month ahead, turn over your new oracle card, have a look at the artwork, find out what the surprise is and hopefully think, oh good, my Kokoro’s here, filed with little glimmers of magical loveliness just for you! That is exactly what I want this to become, because lets face it we need to keep our childlike nature alive and happy!

Kokoro is a recurring monthly subscription, so once you join, your next edition will be reserved automatically each month until you decide to cancel. There is no long contract and you can cancel before your next renewal. Every edition is written, designed, assembled and packed by me, so membership numbers may occasionally be limited depending on how many I can physically make.

When will it be sent?

Order by the 20th of the month to receive the following month’s letter. Letters are posted around the 23rd of each month in standard, untracked envelopes.
