1:1 Shoden Reiki Training 14hrs
Shoden is the first level of Reiki and the beginning of your relationship with Reiki practice. This private 1:1 Shoden Reiki training is suitable if you are completely new to Reiki, or if you feel drawn to learn in a more personal, supportive and carefully held way.
Some students enjoy learning in a group. Others know they need more space, more time, or a calmer setting where they can ask questions freely and move at their own pace. 1:1 training allows the teaching to be shaped around you, while still following the same clear structure, depth and respect as my group Reiki courses.
Shoden focuses on self-practice, the Reiki principles, hands-on Reiki, Japanese Reiki techniques, grounding, treatment structure and beginning to understand Reiki as a daily practice of self-cultivation, not just a technique.
This training is rooted in Usui Reiki Ryōhō, with emphasis on practice, compassion, presence, ethics and care.

This training can be offered in person at Holistic Care Durham or online via Zoom. In-person training is held at my therapy and training centre in Durham. Online training is held live via Zoom and is still taught with care, structure and space for questions.

Availability
1:1 Reiki training is mainly available on Mondays and Saturdays, with occasional exceptions where possible. Dates are arranged directly with me after we have spoken.
