A special opportunity for anyone who has felt drawn to learn Reiki with me, but lives further away from Durham.
On Wednesday 24th June and Wednesday 1st July, I will be teaching Shoden, Reiki Level One, live online through Zoom.
This is the first level of Usui Reiki Ryōhō, but it is not a light or surface-level introduction. Shoden means “first teachings”. It is where the roots of Reiki begin.
Across the two live sessions, you will be guided through the foundations of Reiki practice, including self-treatment, the Reiki precepts, Gasshō meditation, Hatsu Rei Hō, Reiju, the history and lineage of Reiki, and how to begin building a daily relationship with the practice.
Although this training is online, it is still taught live, in real time, with presence, structure and support. You will be able to ask questions, be guided through practice, receive Reiju, and feel held throughout the training.
This is not simply two teaching days and then you are left on your own. After training, you will also have access to the wider Holistic Care Durham Reiki community, with opportunities to continue learning, practising and deepening your understanding of Reiki beyond the course itself.
This online Shoden training is ideal if you are not local to Durham, if travelling is difficult, or if you feel more able to learn from the comfort of your own home.
